—Overview
The Naval Yard builds ships and must be placed on the shoreline. At Tier 1 it produces Gunboats, Missile Boats and Landing Craft: everything needed to scout the water, contest it, and cross it.
How to use
On any map with water between you and the enemy, a Naval Yard is the first step to a landing. Gunboats scout, Missile Boats sink the enemy's early ships, Landing Craft carry the tanks. Upgrade to the Advanced Naval Yard for Frigates, Destroyers, Submarines and, with Radar, the Battleship. Place it on a stretch of coast you can defend; it is exposed by nature.
Counters
Bombardment from ships and artillery, and bombers. Shore turrets and a couple of gunboats keep raiders off it.
